The Real author of Swallows and Amazons?

I just read the Hardyment book, and found the fragment from the first draft of PD where the Swallows and Amazons are complaining about the book Swallows and Amazons.

Could this mean Captain Flint was really Arthur Ransome? (Maybe Mixed Moss wasn't such a great seller after all?) I've come up with a better theory, which is that the author of SA was Mrs. Walker. After all, with Commander Walker away, the older children at school, and a nurse for Bridget/Vicky, what else did she have to do?
