May Thanks for all the advice.

I have wanted to go ever since I found out it was a real place, and although I know that Wildcat is actually a combination of a couple of places and a healthy dose of imagination, this seems to be the best place to get the feel of AR's stories. I do not know about others, but when I was a child (and now for that matter) the Secret Harbour evoked the best feelings of Adventure, and to be able to row or scull in(although I have yet to see a wayfarer with a scull rest & I do not think I would be as lucky with the wind as Titty & John) would be the fulfillment of much childhood longing.

We shall see, hopefully before the end of the summer hols.
