“Tight Little Island” is the US title of “Whisky Galore” (1949) according to Leonard Maltin. The author Compton Mackenzie had a small role as Captain Buncher.
“Rockets Galore” or in the US “Mad Little Island” (1957) about a proposed postwar missile base there was a sequel (Maltin says not as good as its predecessor). Both starred Gordon Jackson, otherwise they had different stars.
