Then there's that lovely little thrum in the tiller when She really comes alive. Sailing catboats you can feel it in the centerboard, too; we used to refer to it as "purring".
Either way, a physical sensation or just the shiver down your spine of being alive and connected to Her, it's a wonderful thing.
