Sadly the original radar mast was demolished couple of years ago. A replacement mast has been erected, as it is used by the Coastguard to communicate with boats and ships, and has a very useful light on the top. The old mast lives on in the form of my yacht club burgee, for the Bawdsey Haven Yacht Club. We use the old RAF facilities and slipway. I was out this evening and so unfortunately missed the programme. I suspect that the Transmitter Block is not a very worthy contender, having historical but not architectural merit. Also it is privately owned.
