BBC Radio 4 today broadcast an interview with Dick Ransome (AR's cousin) in the 'Open Country' programme, which this week came from Coniston. Dick R spoke quite a lot about AR, but confessed he had not read SA as a child, as he preferred to be down by the lake - a true Nancy Blackett! It was an honest interview and I recommend it - available on the BBC Radio 4 Website 'Listen Again' facility.
