Glad that you survived that swing by Mother Nature so securely.
Perhaps those of you who have experienced a hurricane can tell the rest of us how hurricanes compare and relate the weather episodes on Crab Island in Peter Duck.
I always wondered if Ransome was trying to describe a hurricane along with the earthquake and waterspout. I know he had seen waterspouts, but I don't think he experienced a hurricane or perhaps a China Seas typhoon.
