Thoroughly enjoyed it - went back and re-read the original again afterwards. Also located a copy of Greer's book on the summer of 1940 (That Summer ?) and thoroughly enjoyed that too. Inevitably there is a lot more sex in both than there was in Buchan (or AR, for that matter) but relevant to the plot.
