"All volumes are in fine condition without any faults."

How sad - what is the point of having a beautiful set like this and not reading them until they are practically falling to bits (so to speak).

My S&A was a birthday present from the person who was to become my best friend. It is over 20 years old and half the pages are falling out. BUT it is still my own favourite book on my shelves (which contain over 200 books) and is still marked with the bookmark which came with it.

Isn't that the point of books - to be read?
