There was an article about him (the Rev George Bramwell Evens) in the 1995 'Despatches' which is, or was, a publication of the Arthur Ransome Society (TARS), and a follow-up in the 1996 edition.
Pam - please note that 'Despatches' is nothing to do with Tarboard, nor is the Mixed Moss and Despatches Index which you found in the Lit Pages of the Arthur Ransome Website. This Index was compiled by me as a service to TARS members.
