The extremely useful NCC Book List of Children's Series Fiction lists the 7 Dauntless titles as per Laurence's, plus four 'Peg-leg' titles.
All 1939-40, so pre-Dauntless

Peg-leg and the Invaders
Peg-leg Sweeps the Sea
I used to listen to the Green Sailors on Children's Hour, and loved it. Rediscovered a copy of the (?First) book recently - it was unbelievably AWFUL.
