When they go ashore in Holland from the Goblin, AR writes that:
”Girls with enormous fluttering white muslin sunbonnets and skirts like black balloons went by on bicycles.” (Dutch Afternoon, Ch 23 of WD). But the make & country? Dutch, Belgian, French, German, English?
There is a picture of a bicycle going along the road behind Goblin on page 285 (hb).
