My apologies I thought that it was clear that I was just quoting the website that's why I provided the link. The point of interest was that it says that the restrictions were eased in 49 which relates directly to what the thread was discussing. Should really have replied directly to Ian's:

still 'War Economy Standards' but a 1st of The Fool Beloved. Sept. 1949

not.
