I think it is National Trust land, but not sure who owns the D.H. itself. You can find it on the Eastern shore of Coniston, about a mile (very roughly) South of Brantwood, up a footpath from a carpark (the easy way) or go on a little bit further and you can find your way up the dried up stream bed, only I expect it's not so dried up at the moment!!!!!
