This was culled from the San Francisco paper several weeks ago. I can't speak to either its
veracity or its source but thought it might interest those, like the Swallows, Amazons, and D's,
who have had to contend with water dripping down their necks:
"Shape the igloo with snow from the same snowfall. Then, with door block pulled shut,
light an oil lamp inside. As its heat melts interior snow, walls wick moisture to the
exterior where it ices over. Next, bore a roof hole, and push open the door block.
Warm air escapes upward. Cold air rushes in to make a thin ice film on the interior
wall. Close the door block. That's it. Plenty warm."
