As you may know, Jonathan Cape, publisher of the AR books, has been
part of the Random House group for some time. This was an American
company, but it has now been sold to the German Bertelsmann Group.
I don't think AR has a big following in Germany. I hope that won't
impact the continued availability of the books.
Also, one of our sponsors here, the Internet Bookshop of Oxford,
has been bought by WH Smith. They, of course are the company that
used to sell the Coot Club and Big Six videos, but have allowed them to
go out of stock.
