On a similar theme, in "The Best of Childhood",p223 is a quote from AR's diary for 22 July,1939.
"Chantilly with William Bullitt, when heard for the first time the story of the secret service man who went to prison in Finland in 1919 accused of being me!"

The questions this raises include:
* Who was imprisoned?
* Which secret service did he work for? (presume British)
* Did he remain in the secret service? If so, is he the reason for remaining antagonism towards AR?
* Who imprisoned the man?
* Why did that person want to imprison AR?

This may be the key to the AR as spy/double agent.
