The Government's Easternb Region is:-

Suffolk and Norfolk - beyond doubt East Anglia

Essex and Cambridgeshire - arguably Eastern, although bits are the edge of London inhabited by 'Essex Man' who is alien to East Anglia

Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire - nothing to do with the East. The Region includes Milton Keynes, almost three hours drive from where I sit in Lowestoft.

As a public officer I argued against the extension from the old Region of Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire but didn't get much support.

I'm not sure what this has to do with AR!
