Me mum used to make curried eggs - simple, edible but not in your league of culinary delights eggzactly (sorry, I've just go home from work and I'm knackered).
She made a white sauce (flour, butter or spread - stir together until butter is melted but before flower starts to brown then add milk veeeeeeeerry slowly stirring continuously. Eventually makes a thick creamy sauce to which most people add cheese to make macaroni cheese.) Anyway, she added mild curry powder so it turned a sort of speckly orange colour. She hard boiled a few eggs, shelled 'em and cut them in half and added them to the hot sauce.
Comfort food!
