If you have not been to the Windermere Steamboat Museum lately it
would be worth you while going along when next you have a chance. The
Amazon display has a new look. John Berry who is an artist has painted
a lovely background for her so that she is now lying in the Secret
Harbour with Kanchenjunga and the lake in the background. John used 4
and a half gallons of paint for the screen so I think it was quite
a job for which he should be congratulated. But he is a glutton for
punishment for he has now agreed to do yet another lovely backcloth
for Coch y Bonddhu who is there also as a visitor until her new home at
Ruskin Museum at Coniston is ready for her.
