I've just bought a Cliffod Webb Swallowdale, with dust cover, for £200.

Please tell me I haven't gone mad.

I now have a scary collection. Clifford Webb SA with DW; Clifford Webb SD with DW; Clifford Webb SD without DW but with a page detailing what happened in SA if you hadn't read it; American SD from the 1930s with the last four sentences missing; 1st editions of ML, SW, GN without DW. Reading copies of all the books with DW, ranging from the 40's to 60's; Hardback copy of Old Peter's Russian Tales without DW; 'The Soldier and Death' with DW from 1962.

This last one was a lucky find on Ebay and I didn't know it existed, so I have no idea what it might be worth.

There is a 1st edition SA on Ebay at the moment. I don't think I'll be buying that. The last one went for more than £1000.

Miss Lee (only slightly geeky)
