Having gone through several rather sad years it is now quite good. The original tiny pub is very nearly exactly as it used to be, serving good beer, with wooden bench seats and scrubbed tables, while meals are obtainable from the new extensions. Yesterday they had a barbecue on the lawn as well.

Those of us who remember the place as just a tiny unspoiled isolated pub will always regret the extensions, but it probably wouldn't have survived at all without them.

For those who wonder what this has to do with AR, the Lock Inn is a potential original for the Roaring Donkey.
