I don't know offhand of any spellchecker implementations intended to deal with written English which offer dialect alternatives, either U.K. or U.S., since in both countries the written words are the same regardless of how they are pronounced. Generally the written attempts to record dialects are attempts to render the spoken sound of the words more or less phonetically. No reason you couldn't build dialects into spellcheckers (if there were dictionaries providing "correct" ways to spell the dialect words, including the new ones peculiar to the dialect), and they probably exist especially for researchers.
