I mentioned pork pies to my wife last night with a strong hint that perhaps she could cook me a few. She replied, "lard and flour - no way at your age and on your diet." As we say in Australia - b*gger.
For those that have trouble with the Australian spelling the * is the fifth vowel.
So no pork pies for me.
Anne let me nibble on a pig's trotter the other month. She uses them for making stock. Not much meat is what I recall.
