The BBC have launched their Voices Project on their WWW pages. Although the presentation is rather lighthearted there is quite a lot of interesting material on the site. Sadly Norfolk seems to be missing although there is material about Lancashire and Cumbria.

Note to those who only occassionally visit the UK. The BBC decided some time ago that it was too elitist and has since then been working hard (and with considerable success) to "Dumb down" is programme content and presentational style.
