We had our first Corroboree in Toronto last year because I decided that we needed to have one. So I did it myself!
It takes a bit of advance planning to think up some theme and find a location. I had it at my sailing club with my own and some other boats to sail in and we had a gold prospecting game and a barbecue. Lots of publicity in the TARSCanada North Pole News and the US newsletter, a general letter to all the TARS members around and talking it up wth non-TARS friends who like AR helped swell the numbers. It doesn't matter how well you do it, just do it and things will work out. Before last year's corroboree was over, we had a volunteer to organize this year's Corroboree which is tomorrow and sounds as if it is going to be great!
