Some further statistical analysis for the undead or boring.

League table of book lengths.

CHAPTERS WORDS AV WORDS/CH.
SD 36 120,622 3,351
PD 36 118,325 3,287
PP 35 99,753 2,850
SA 31 99,167 3,199
BS 33 98,785 2,993
GN 29 98,142 3,384
CC 30 95,960 3,199
PM 30 92,845 3,095
ML 27 92,168 3,414
WD 27 91,484 3,388
WH 29 91,484 3,155
SW 30 89,722 2,991

The longest SD is 34% more than the shortest, yet they all sold for the same price.

Top 10 Chapter lengths

ML CH04 7,558
CC CH18 5,252
ML CH27 5,250
ML CH 24 5,085
SW CH26 5,058
ML CH13 4,855
WH CH24 4,846
PD CH01 4,789
GN CH16 4,780
SD CH36 4,739

Why does SD, the longest book, only feature as No. 10 in the chapter lengths?

One could go on for hours analysing these figures!! - but I must thank Ed Kiser again for providing the raw information.
Sorry if copying from Excel misaligns the columns.
