"If you are Red/Green Colour Blind you can distinguish between Red and Green Lights while on watch and/or sailing by yourself by using filters of Red and Green glass/plastic which you insert between your eye and the Light that you are viewing. Takes a bit of time to do I suppose!"
I just KNEW there would be a good use for those old 3D cinema goggles!
