Could AR have created an amalgam of the flags? The white elephant of Siam and the green field of the Oriental Club? I don't know why he would do that, but since he did it with The Lake...
It could even be playful: a flag with the exotic feel of Siam, but with an oblique (cryptic?) reference to his club.
