Interesting place:
The National Access and Rescue Centre is a dedicated training facility for fall protection, difficult access and vertical rescue. We provide courses to individuals, government agencies and all sectors of industry.
Courses include height safety, use of fall protection equipment, rope access, mast and tower climbing, rigging, rescue after a fall, remote first aid, competent person for inspection, industrial rescue, fire service rescue and personal evacuation.
All training is tailored to a particular industry or working method, and contains the essential skills and knowledge to operate a safe system of work in the activity concerned.
The British government sends its fire fighters to TAMU to be trained in safe building entry. I have a group to lecture to next week. We have what is called disaster city for training.
