Jock:
I apologize for not returning your emails.
We have a somewhat beastly web mail system with some form of spam filter, although based on the amount of spam I used to get I didn't think it worked that well. I purchased Spam Bully and that filter learns about what you consider spam, you slowly train it. I am told often about the emails that do not make it through the system, if it is any consolation my big bosses emails never make it. There is some form of statement in that last statement, but I think it is best to leave it alone. I complain regularly to our computer people and they tell me it is me.
I have an small account that only a very few close personal friends (actually one close personal friend) uses - because I once sent her a response from my hotmail account and now she (current student who lives in Dallas) uses it all the time. I try and respond to every email that I get so again I apologize. I needed the hotmail account to get mail access when I was overseas in the really old days - you know 1998 etc.
If you resend the emails to macneacail@hotmail.com then I will respond asap. I got the name Macneacail from a brand of shortbread in Scotland. Actually from the back of the packet, but I have never been able to find them again even on the web.
Would Roger have known about Shortbread?
