Two posts in one day - can't you tell that one of my projects has been suddenly fast-tracked and that I should really be working on 16 family trees right now rather than enjoying myself on Tarboard?

Except that, plainly some people are getting hurt on Tarboard. For example, "I personally (and this is also a personal view) draw the line at fantasies involving the drowning (or risking drowning) of a fellow-Tarboarder. I just can't see that as funny, try as I might." I know from this forum and others just how easy it is to be misunderstood (I'm always getting caught by people who think I'm being outrageous when I'm actually being ironic) and it is horrid when people become unhappy in a group that should be fun and interesting and preferably even life-enhancing. It can spoil the whole atmosphere of the list.
