In just thinking about those few decisions I made to create a modern family and the things one needs to know to make them come alive. It is amazing AR kept it all straight in his head and make them so believable.
I am going to do some editing and assume that Dot is only 13 and is Form 2 at Bruton School. Her principal would be Mrs. Barbara Bates, which is interesting as my great great great grandmother who migrated to Oz was Eliza Bates. My eldest daughter is named for her.
