I had a sad but nice time reading the stories of Ian in the Wooden Boat Forum. He was certainly well liked by a significant number of people. I also liked the stories of his friendships and sailing experiences. The hunt for the pub was quite interesting, particulary the comment about the up market pub not being to Ian's liking.

It is nice to think he died amoungst people who understood what he liked to do and why he liked to do it.

May I ask please for a picture of the Patience and a brief summary of her class type. The Wooden Boat forum pictures are now blank on my machine.

What is to happen to the Patience?
