Jock - Ha ha ha. I hope we are not going to get a stream of facetious suggestions from you. As you must know, the 'N' word debate was a serious one, but it was hi-jacked into a 'political correctness' debate. It is all too easy, when faced with a suggestion one doesn't like, to label it 'PC' and then everyone boos and hisses at it. That is what has happened on Tarboard.

Whether you like it or not, the 'n' word is in two of AR's books and we have to deal with that. A decision to ban PD, BS and possibly all AR's books won't be made by us - it will be made by childrens educationalists who read the Guardian and not the Telegraph. When that happens, what are you going to say to them? Your 'black' jokes won't be much help to you then.
