In other words was it like Peter Duck made up in the winter holidays
in a wherry on the Norfolk Broads. I think that it isn't. My reason is that
if you look at the beginning of Peter Duck and Missee Lee you'll see that it
says : (Based on information supplied by the Swallows and Amazons).
This, then would seem to say that they had made up the story themselves.
If anyone has any other views I'd be interested to hear what you think.
