Is there anything in SD that tell us that only a year has passed since SA?

IIRC, without the book in front of me, there are several references, starting in the first chapter, to its only having been a year. For instance, Roger was finding that a year made quite a difference in fitting in front of the mast. One other reference a couple of chapters in relates to Pike Rock, which they hadn't seen on the last day of SA at Horseshoe Cove since the water was much higher than it was in SD.

Further indirect evidence is that the Swallows all have new sleeping bags and tents whereas the first year on the island they used blankets and a couple of home-made tents. This strongly suggests that either SD followed SA by only one year, or that they hadn't camped in the year immediately preceding SD (which is contradicted by Roger's front-of-mast experience).
