Interesting article about encouraging today's youth to take more risks (if they can escape their parents). The children's commissioner (very Orwellian title to me) is planning to develop theme parks where children can undertake adventures like the Swallows and Amazons, such as climbing trees. Camping on remote islands and sailing without supervision is so far not on the plan.
