Quite often in those photos daily provided by Tony Richardson on his LAKELANDCAM is his small black dog. Tony just told me that the dog's name is KALI. Gender? He did not say...
A companion like that must be quite a pleasure for those long walks Tony takes every day to bring to the world his samples of the beauty of his part of the world for us all to enjoy.
Those photos of the Lake District serve to verify the mental images that the words of Ransome had already drawn in my mind so many years ago.
