Defining like is the hard part.
Mavis is not Amazon, she shares characteristics, but in a fight over copyright on the design the two designers would not win the argument either way. Mavis is to narrow, but she has the important things and so I am sure she was in AR's mind, but he created a more flexible boat for the sailing stories.
