As to the dinghy, that's a very good point that I had previously
missed. Wild Cat had two boats (a dinghy + swallow), so why
would Viper. But then, didn't Viper actually have THREE boats?
They lost one to the anchor, and one to the fog. The third they
would have used when they boarded Wild Cat. I suppose they could
have purchased a third boat while at Madeira.
