From the Canadian Coordinator for TARS: there are currently seven TARS members/families in and around Vancouver, and a further four in and around Victoria (though one couple seem to spend most of their time sailing around the Caribbean -- in the "Nancy Blackett"!) If you got together with those in the NW USA it should be possible to have a good corroboree. There have been successful events in the Toronto area the last two summers, and I can't believe the West Coast TARS are any less enthusiastic. As Dave Thewlis says, it needs one or two enthusiasts to act as a catalyst.
