I have always enjoyed the "Night at the Eel Sett" chapter from BS. It seems to me to introduce the reader to the idea that people who disagree with you may still be good people; its just that they have a different perspective on the situation. It also introduces the idea that things change and that sometimes that is good and sometimes it is bad, but either way the history still should be known and the people taking part in that history understood.
