I refer you to my critique of Kierkegaard [spelling checked]. Binary logic fails to model much of real world behaviour. The world is an analogue place. We need the subtle interplay between the rule governed John and the anarchistic Nancy. When the rule governed decision-making approach of John and Susan reinforce Swallow is wrecked. I fear that the Goblin would have suffered a similar fate if John had not let his intuitive side override Susan's moaning, We promised... . I think AR saw Nancy in Ewgenia, but she turned out to be a Susan.
