Simon McCorkindale is married to and in film production partnership with Susan George, who played Kitty, yes Kitty, in the 1963 BBC 6 part serial. AR was so annoyed at this production, especially when it was suggested they blow-up the rocks on Peel Island, that he suggested that everybody should blow their car horns at the same time, to drown out the TV I suppose! He hated it! But no doubt took the money!
