Some time ago on Tarboard we had a cracking discussion on HTML. At the time I was struggling to post messages with:

ordered lists

John
Susan
Titty
Roger

numbered lists
grog
pemmican
bread
milk

The idea of producing two columns of text seemed a distant dream. Thanks to a bit of friendly advice from computer savvy Tarboarders I made slow, but steady progress. Finally, I found an on- line HTML Guide which written in PLAIN English. I commend to anyone who would like to format their messages, but cannot digest “How to” guides written by computer geeks.
