My only copy of S&A is a somewhat damaged Cape hardback, 29th impression 1953, bought in 1957, which says nothing of any impression in 1941. It has the 15th in May 1940 and the 16th in May 1942. So it seems to agree with your three later ones, not with your 1947 one.
