I'm sorry some people have been having problems in accessing the
Quiz. I suspect some of them may be using old browsers (Netscape 2.0
for example) which cannot make sense of the Javascript version 1.1
in which the Quiz is written. I'll see what I can do to rewrite it in
Javascript 1.0, but without any great hope of success.The only certain
solution I'm afraid, may be to upgrade to Netscape 3.0 or 4.0 or
equivalent in Internet Explorer. If you've been using a reasonably
up-to-date browser and still have problems, pleas e-mail me.
The database on which the Quiz is based has grown, first to 120
quotations, and then (with the help of some cracking examples from
Adam Quinan) to 144. I'm hoping to have the quiz running on a laptop
at the May AGM of TARS in order to persuade non-virtual memebers of
the joys of Tarsnet.
