By a curious coincidence in view of the fact that the previous thread is about Rattletrap, I was looking for information about Dornford Yates' 'Lowland' car and discovered this:

Googling has not so far shown up any Leyland sports cars in that
era, but Leyland could certainly build fast cars when they wanted
