I am amazed at the variety of the posts in the last 24 hours.

Myself I like the Detective Agency Story.

For those who are wondering what the moment of interia is when it is alive and kicking in Scotland - damn the Scottish are culling the inertia of the world.

Moment of Inertia I=mr(squared) so you can make the moment inertia higher by increasing the mass (which is linear and inefficient) or by increasing the average distance or radius from the center of the mass to the average mass location (approximately). If someone wants me to go into the full integral equation I can.

Of course running into the rock was a classic case of inertia doing the damage. (SD and the sinking)

So holes help inertia, which is why we don't like solid wheels.
